Welcome! No, seriously.. welcome! My name is Jacob and I'm a real estate investor. My journey started when I graduated from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) with a degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering. After college, I moved to Houston, Texas, and dove into the corporate world. I've always had a knack for building things, both physical and intangible, and a passion to help people solve problems. I've always felt there is more to life than working a 9-5. Life is full of opportunities. Leave no stone unturned, as my Dad would say. I try to live by this as much as reasonably possible. Both of my parents are entrepreneurs and embody the classic small business owner. My dad owned bars and restaurants when I was growing up, and my mom has a small embroidery and sewing business. This entrepreneurial spirit was instilled in me from a young age. They have always been my source of inspiration and taught me to never settle and pursue my passions at all costs. So, I set out to engineer a lifestyle I had designed on paper. This has been quite the adventure and one I'm still figuring out every day. It has prepared me to help others navigate down this similar path to financial and lifestyle freedom through real estate investing. The resources I make available - podcasts, blogs, and newsletters – all stem from my passion for real estate investing. I'm certainly not a guru. I'm simply an aspiring entrepreneur, just like you. I'm an avid learner, constantly reading books, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and absorbing information any way I can. I started acquiring real estate in 2015 and have grown my portfolio with multifamily properties. When I’m not working on real estate deals, I like kayak fishing, spending time with my niece and nephews, and exploring new places.
